Porcelain Veneers

Custom-designed shells of porcelain that transform chips, stains, gaps, and misalignment into a flawless, natural-looking smile.

A great veneer disappears — it should look like your own teeth, only better. Dr. Lewis designs each case with artistic precision, matching shade, translucency, and contour to create results that are both beautiful and believable.

What Can Veneers Fix?

Dental veneers are ultra-thin shells of porcelain bonded to the front surface of your teeth. They are one of the most versatile cosmetic treatments available, capable of correcting a wide range of aesthetic concerns in just two to three appointments.

  • Chipped or cracked teeth
  • Stubborn stains whitening cannot remove
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Mildly crooked or uneven teeth
  • Teeth that are too small or worn down
  • Uneven gum lines (appearance)

Porcelain vs. Composite Veneers

Premium Choice

Porcelain Veneers

Custom-fabricated in a dental laboratory for the most natural appearance. Highly stain-resistant and durable, lasting 10 to 20 years with proper care. The best option for a full smile transformation.

Budget-Friendly

Composite Veneers

Applied directly to the teeth in a single visit using tooth-colored resin. More affordable and easily repairable, but typically last 5 to 7 years and are more susceptible to staining over time.

Your Journey

The Veneer Process

1

Consultation & Design

Dr. Lewis discusses your goals, evaluates your teeth, and helps you choose the right shade, shape, and material. Digital planning ensures you see the result before committing.

2

Preparation

A thin layer of enamel is removed from the front of each tooth to make room for the veneer. Impressions are taken and sent to our lab for custom fabrication.

3

Temporary Veneers

Provisional veneers protect your prepared teeth while your custom porcelain veneers are being hand-crafted by the lab — typically one to two weeks.

4

Bonding & Final Fit

Your permanent veneers are checked for fit and color, then bonded with a strong dental adhesive for a seamless, lasting result that looks completely natural.

Veneer Cost in Texas

Porcelain veneers typically cost between $900 and $2,500 per tooth in Texas. Most patients choose four to eight veneers for the teeth visible when smiling. While cosmetic veneers are generally not covered by dental insurance, we offer Cherry and CareCredit financing to make your smile transformation affordable with manageable monthly payments.

Veneer FAQs

How much do veneers cost in Texas?

Porcelain veneers typically cost between $900 and $2,500 per tooth. Composite veneers are $250 to $600 per tooth. The total cost depends on how many veneers you need for your smile goals.

Are veneers permanent?

Veneers are considered permanent because enamel is removed during preparation. The veneers themselves typically need replacement every 10 to 20 years. With proper care, porcelain veneers can last 15 years or longer.

What is the difference between porcelain and composite veneers?

Porcelain veneers are lab-made, more natural-looking, stain-resistant, and last 10-20 years. Composite veneers are done in one visit, more affordable, but last 5-7 years and stain more easily.

Can you get veneers with bad teeth?

It depends. Veneers address cosmetic issues like discoloration and chips. Teeth with significant decay or gum disease may need treatment first. Dr. Lewis will evaluate your oral health during a consultation.
